The Amazing Women Behind Woven.....
Monika Szamko, Founder & Wonder Woman
Monika grew up in Europe where she loved and benefited from the close communities people/women from there. She moved to the United States in her late teens and received her MBA from MIT. She thought she would rule the world one day as a corporate CEO until she realized her true calling was as a wife/lover/mother/friend/entrepreneur who creates an impact on people. When not playing peekaboo with her young kids, Monika loves dancing, traveling, hiking and most of all a good conversation over a cappuccino or two. She dreams of sleeping in and getting back to painting and drawing one day in the future....

Lisa Carlton, Leader of Women and Host of Woven Santa Cruz, CA
I am excited that as women we are weaving together to celebrate, listen deeply and cheer one another on: to laughters, gratitude and being present in our precious lives. I enjoy the practice of weaving silly, playful zaniness with grounded, authentic presence. I graduated from the University of Illinois in Art Therapy, ITP's Coaching Program, and San Jose State in Education. I am teaching, life coaching, and leading workshops while watching my two beautiful sons mature in Santa Cruz, CA. I love people and spending time in women's circles; it's transformational. I love painting on big canvases, riding my Pinarello bike on country roads, swimming and celebrating life with friends and family.
Claire Morris, Creative Goddess
"Shazam" is that moment when energy, attitude and possibility align. Claire embodies this spirit and infuses it into the design, writing and women of Woven. After graduation from the University of California, Berkeley in art history and election to the President's Circle of the California College of the Arts, she worked for 15+ years as a Creative Director for retail and tech companies including Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Levi Strauss, and Salesforce.com, before starting her own creative company. An intimate experience with death, led her towards projects that further the human spirit. Belly laughter, collaboration, and chocolates are essential parts of her process.
Blanka Molnar, HR Fairy & Host of Woven London, UK
Five years ago, Blanka decided to turn her life upside down and now, there is no turning back. So in September 2011, she quit her job and moved to California. After spending two amazing years in the Golden State, she moved back to Europe and today is working as an HR Fairy in London for an IT company.
